How each plan's commission is calculated

The examples use made-up numbers so you can follow the arithmetic. Enter your own in the calculator for that plan.

Binary

Commission = matched pairs × joining fee × binary %

Pairs are matched on the weaker leg. With a $100 joining fee and 10% binary commission, each pair pays $10. A member with 30 people on the left and 18 on the right has 18 matched pairs, which is $180 before capping. With a cap of $150 per cycle, the payable amount is $150.

Unilevel

Level payout = members on level × joining fee × level %

With a $100 joining fee and 5, 25 and 125 people on levels 1 to 3, paid at 10%, 5% and 2%: level 1 pays 5 × $100 × 10% = $50, level 2 pays $125 and level 3 pays $250. The total is $425 before deductions.

Matrix

Positions = width × (widthdepth − 1) ÷ (width − 1)

A 3 by 5 matrix holds 3 + 9 + 27 + 81 + 243 = 363 positions. If each position pays 5% of a $100 joining fee, a full matrix pays 363 × $5 = $1,815.
